On the weekend of December 10, I had the privilege to watch dear friends of mine be invested as the new Baron and Baroness of Dun Carraig in the Kingdom of Atlantia.
I spent a lovely day at the Potomac River event site, watching armored and rapier combat, archery, and thrown weapons. Two A&S competitions were a highlight of the day – “How to Make a Laurel Cry” and the “Sew On, Sew On” competition.
Her Majesty of Atlantia, Mary Isabel was a delightful dinner companion and made me feel most welcome throughout the day. And Their Excellencies, Galien and Caitriona, and their family member, Martine, made me and my companion most comfortable all weekend.
